Awesome Tip: The State of the Union Of Marketing in 2020: Volume of Content | Ericsson Keynote

This is a brand new keynote Gary did in June at a conference hosted by Ericsson. He talks a lot about his DNA as a salesman and an entrepreneur, immigration, using your skills to your advantage and a lot more. A lot of good Q&A in here!

  2. 09:59 – "My luck or DNA of only being consumer concentric has to the honor of talking to you today. There is nothing more entrepreneurial or rogue or disruptive than caring about nothing in the middle but the end consumer. Pandering to nothing; not awards, not the press, not the media, not the B2B environment, not the conferences, not the people that are fancy, just the end consumer. And building leverage there which ultimately gives you leverage with all the things I just mentioned that are in the middle." – Love it!

  3. I cannot believe how hard facebook ads are to get right!!!! How long should it take. Have been doing it for over a year and have not got ANY traction or call from there?!!?!?! HELP!?!?!?!?

  4. As a recruiter by trade, I have always leveraging LinkedIn for engaging potential candidates. Thinking about using it as a B2B tool to attract more clients is genius. One question I do have is: is post production crucial for success or can I post raw footage or content?

  5. I remember being a kid thinking the ppl in these Fortune 5000 companies knew what they were doing. Now I know my generation will eat their lunch. Thanks for updating my thesis Gary.

  6. Fellow hustlers! I've recently started the lean startup diet. Would love to hear your feedback on our IG and FB page and of course our Renting Ranting Quarters podcast which we also post here on our YouTube channel. Please let me know if you like my execution or if you have any suggestions to become better. Really appreciate your support! Thanks for throwing out your content for free Gary. You've helped me out as a CEO and a human being. Much respect Gary V. Much respect.

  7. props to Gary that he didn't freaked out after they asked him about the magical 5k pieces of content for the 27th time

over 40 min keynote and Q&A and they still don't get it

  8. These keynotes are life to me as a digital marketer going through the journey I get so excited about the power that this new industry can have on the success of small businesses I can't even contain it and it's so crazy to see that even big companies still don't get it as I run into small business owners who are completely lost but I'm committed to teaching every one of those small business owners I reach because it's really that important!

  9. all these people listening to Gary,
    confirming what he says,
but most of them won't start working on what he said, because they don't know how. Most of the people don't konw how to use social media, they talk more about the networks than using them.

  10. This is interesting that few years back when I was in telecom PR was very small department and mostly one senior Chinese person used to be face for the company in most media related work, so much has changed by now but they feel like same kind of not doing much in this field.
