Awesome Tip: THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF BUSINESS! | DAILYVEE 304

You have to focus on the consumer. Fuck what you think the consumer is doing, focus on what they’re actually doing. Too many media company professionals go home and sit on instagram, but then come back to work saying that all of the attention is on television, print, etc. Open your eyes and be honest with yourself.

Really enjoyed that I got to spend some time in London to work on VaynerMedia, speak at a Facebook event, and meet up with my man PointlessBlog.

  1. Terrific video, Gary. "Ninja's who don't get romantic about anything but consumer attention." Yes, yes, yes.

As for 1 or 2 channels: I prefer 1. It's just easier; you don't have to check any more channels. Just one. Done.

  2. Hahaha. Sounds like you're saying, "Vlad." 😀 Man, I think this might be my all-time favorite DailyVee. Seriously. The information in this video is priceless and it's going to help me build. I already have a stream of ideas inspired by this video. I'm going to execute. Thanks Gary. You are an entrepreneur's treasure. <3

  3. Gary…. You talk a lot about the self-esteem awareness – and you also say that people should be doing only the stuff they want and not the stuff their surroundings want them to. But – isn't it better to spend 8 hours on stuff your surroundings wants you to and then 10 hours on your stuff? Cause it's better than only those 10 hours of your stuff… As you say 1>0

Fot example me – I am I construction student, and I will probably never ever do that in my life – but I'm unable to force myself,at the time, to work on my stuff more thano 10 hours, so I would rather spend it on other productive stuff – learning and trying /, than Netflix and shit… I hope you're getting my point and you will expose this problem to everyone,

Thanks and greetings from post – communist Czech Republic

  4. Love the continued changes and improvements being made in this format. And the editing just keeps getting better, smarter, cleaner. Love the blue border. And @garyvee I am totally down with both channels baby, keep it comin!

  5. Hey Gary! 20 years young, I’m from idaho probably the most boring state in the universe. I wanted to say you have inspired me to stay true to myself regardless what people think. I have the same mentality as you I like to think. But I have one question, what do you do on your free time? I spend all of my time grinding growing my business even went full time for myself! But I find it hard allowing myself free time that doesn’t involve work all I think about and all I want to do is work (8am to 3 or 4am) it gets in the way of my relationships with my Lady/family, and at this point I’ve given up all hope for having friends haha. What does Gary do? Do I Keep hustling till I’m where I want to be? Or should I make more free time for myself. Thanks man!

  6. One of the best I've seen lately @GaryVee – Really able to connect with this one. You made some really valid points, and the value is awesome. I can put some of this advice to use immediately. Thanks again. P.s. the heli over LDN is rad.

  7. Here's an idea Drock – build episodes around topics, i think getting a random mix every dailyvee is cool, but what would be 10x more satisfying would be if we could pick a video about a speciefic topic and enjoy it

  8. 10:38 Ninjas that don't get romantic about anything else than consumer attention. So useful! That can be applied to any person in any biz. Be unromantic. So important.

And that vaynermedia would be a voice shop if he started today. So interesting! That statement alone helped me see how serious he is about voice.

  9. Thanks so much for your motivation Gary! I just uploaded a video responding to your document vs create concept on my channel, and because of you I'm starting weekly content. Appreciate you!

  11. Hey Gary, massive fan here, being from the UK it's so cool to see you in the London office. I watch all your videos and sense a difference between the NYC office and London office, not worse or better, just different. Could I ask what you see as the cultural differences in your locations and how it impacts the business as a whole?
