  1. I appreciate his points, passion and accomplishments and I dont mind odd expletive however think he would be more effective with less profanity given unable to share this forward but WTF right?

  2. Awnsr of the day, well first I had an urge to Google top of mind and fill your white space and it took me down a delightful rabbit hole of branding and design, but the awnser is really just getting my daughter into a place of our own, probably going to take a part time job, put in action but have patience in the long game, I mean you could always hire me lol but I just gotta eat shit if I'm playing for the top

  3. I have been following you for almost an year but This keynote is by far your best. Every CEO, Every HR, Every CFO must watch this brilliant keynote by Gary Vee to Truely Understand that your people are the really assets and not your product or services. Even your clients come second if you ask me!
I love what you said about how business are CFO driven where as it should be HR driven!

  4. 23:20 I love Gary but he has not "encouraged" people to leave negative reviews on Glassdoor (not for long, anyway). The rating for Vayner was already bad, it almost sounds like he's using that as an excuse for the currently poor rating. There's nothing wrong with leaving a negative anonymous review about a company if said company was a a shitty place to work.

  5. I love this subject! I've never heard you before talk this much about it and I would love to learn more about this. Is there any material that I can look into? Talks, books, etc… I'm just starting my first "serious" company and I'm going to need more of this 🙂

  6. Oh man that piece about employees navigating through the political s**t resonated so much. It's the reason I became self employed I couldn't stomach that political nonsense. Thanks Gary for being so upfront and saying what needs to be said

  7. I have watched/listened to this talk 3 or 4 times over since you posted it yesterday and I just can't thank you enough for your dedication to your people and all of us who love you. You are amazing !

  8. Funny how Gary Vaynerchuk is talking about how bosses/ CEOs in today's market within their workplace is exactly what occurs with teachers in grade school. Teachers should be doing exactly what Gary's talking about: Paying special attention to each and every student's need and personal dynamic. Starting with their emotional intelligence, home values and drive.

  9. Gary, after I have read the comments on GlassDoor I am interested in finding out how do you or your employees ultimately find a balance between work and life?

For example if you understand a person (maybe too close) on social media, does that mean there's no work and life balance / differences any more? as there may be a point for others in the company to start judging on others (potentially not performing as expected) who are enjoying themselves out of work time (work-life balance)

Would love to hear back from you Gary!

  10. Possibly one of my favorite Garyvee keynotes. Business is people; always comes down to humanity. There's nothing better than following a leader who cares about his/her people both in word and in action.

  11. One of the BIGGEST issues confronting the military is job satisfaction and standard of life. We definitely get the importance of discipline and that the culture isn't exactly family friendly but a huge issue is mistrust of leadership. The family first campaign is a great idea but there are organizational issues effecting a proper implementation. I wonder how may Vets actually left the service because of job dissatisfaction and family prioritization. Leadership could take a note from corporate America that supports HR like Vayner media (says they do, don't know for sure).

  12. I have noticed that Garry is consistent in his introduction of how he build a liquor store bottom up which is a good thing since it shows that consistency in what you do is always the game!
