  1. It’s always funny to me hearing Gary talk about when he didn’t have anything. Meanwhile I’m from NJ and know that the town he’s from is very affluent. But he seems to think he struggled.

  2. "Making a 100k and living a 130k life sucks." I've been trying to put my life into perspective lately, and this makes me feel so much better. It sucks not making as much money as you want, but I've seen people with high paying jobs living horribly. Thanks Gary.

  3. Gary, it was funny how you noted that a little 2 to 3 minute rant could be the one that changes everything and then you went ahead and DID it, haha. What you described was probably THE best encapsulation of what life is about within the context of a modern society. It’s your entire premise…almost no need to elaborate. Well done.

  4. I make around $27k a year now or $13.50/hr I feel and say yeah I need more money because it would make me happier having more money.. I enjoy sleeping in, playing video games, watching YouTube videos, working on cars, traveling. How do I do that while working a regular job? I wanna be doing a bunch of shit like flipping cars and houses and traveling the world meeting people etc.

  5. here we go. y'all missing the point. I hate to break it to you but you trying to be happy in hell is not going too work. you keep trying too make hell right. look your only job is to get out off hell because you have to get a body that don't die. you not supposed too Die you know. so if you are A thinking person the is what you really about this is being a friend to yourself. get the body that don't die then you can live. we have to stop being stupid. we have to deal with this situation we got ourself into. be a strong man be a strong woman you can do this. it's going too happen anyway weather you face it or not. so it will be better to face it and deal. that's what i do. you going to be a way better person. it's all about following GODS RULES. but you have too know who GOD IS. get this book Bhagavad Gita As it is.

  6. Thanks Gary! Loved that you put in an actual figure of your time's worth. The little details does make the journey seem so fascinating – it really puts into context that you don't do what you do for the money, but your happiness xx

  7. “The people that have more money than me but hate the process are not luckier than me. They aren’t more fortunate than me.” Y’all need to write this down and underline it three times!

Talking from experience money makes life easier and more comfortable and sure if you’ll end up being rich it equals more opportunities but it the amount of things or luxury you own and the places you visited won’t make you any happier. Meaningful human relationships & love are where it’s at.

  8. I believe money does not automatically guarantee you happiness… gives you access to many things that will lead to happiness. For me money would allow me to bless friends and family….donate to charity, this would definitely make me happy.

  9. Im 24 and Im finally at that moment Gary always talks about.
Being Self aware, being confident and closing your ears to everything.
Its fascinating, and… scary. Only because I'm just starting to realize how much potential WE ALL have, and yet we waste it on others opinions. You have no control of what other people think or do and if you keep relying on them for your own self worth and success, you're in for a painful awakening. LIVE FOR YOU AND YOURSELF and the rest will unfold.
Love You & Live for you, because you're the only person YOU have to mandatory live with forever.

  10. ALWAYS INSPIRING! Thank you for inspiring viewers. Your videos have always helped me get me out of my comfort zone. This reminded me of this story:

A crow lived in the forest and was absolutely satisfied in life. But one day he saw a swan. “This swan is so white,” he thought, “and I am so black. This swan must be the happiest bird in the world.”

He expressed his thoughts to the swan. “Actually,” the swan replied, “I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colors. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation.” The crow then approached the parrot. The parrot explained, “I lived a very happy life until I saw a peacock. I have only two colors, but the peacock has multiple colors.”

The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him. After the people had left, the crow approached the peacock. “Dear peacock,” the crow said, “you are so beautiful. Every day thousands of people come to see you. When people see me, they immediately shoo me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet.”

The peacock replied, “I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happy bird on the planet. But because of my beauty, I am entrapped in this zoo. I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the crow is the only bird not kept in a cage. So for past few days, I have been thinking that if I were a crow, I could happily roam everywhere.”
