Go for the long term, yes!
Top line is good to get momentum going in the beginning of a business. That being said, assuming you are starting a business yourself and aren't throwing capital at a company because you think is worthy are different things because both parties if you are the owner vs an angel investor have different expectations. Cash flow and receivables are perhaps the most important in the beginning because chances are you will be losing money for awhile before you get positive earnings.
