  1. Sai weng shi ma is a phrase in China that gary touched on it means: a man gets a horse, his horse get another horse to be its mate, thus he has two horses, the man falls off his horse, then he doesn't go to war all because of the horse. What's a horse mean to you?

  2. Gary I love this! What made me smile was when the video cut out half way through to show an advert and the guys in the ad was being all zany and not himself at all, and then it cut back to you just doing your thing from the heart. Just really crystallised to me just how real you are and what a rarity that is. Love your work. Gary, I only discovered you a month ago and you've already helped me so much as a mum starting her first business after finding her confidence again. I wanted to thank you for that! x

  3. When you’re broke, money does fix your problems. You don’t have money to go to the hospital and heal yourself. You can’t afford a way to get to work. You don’t know if you’re going to be able to sleep in the same place the next day. It’s bullshit when people say money doesn’t provide happiness. I just turned 18, got hired at my first job. It’s not the best job at all. $11 an hour, 40 hours a week. I am chasing money so I can have happiness in my 20s. I want to travel & start photography. Chase your money to have happiness. It’s okay.

  4. Hey Gary, i just got hooked onto your videos for last 12 hours straight. Until yesterday, i didn’t even know that someone like you exist. This is my first ever comment on any youtube channel, so it’s really special. I have never connected so intensely with any you-tuber or entrepreneur like this before.

I will start with an opportunity to grab your attention, I am an entrepreneur with the passion and capability to build the next billion dollar business while still being a nice guy in town.

I have a startup called, “PARTY HUNT”, an online platform to find nearby live-music events. I am on a mission to make everyone dance. It’s currently available only in Goa, India. I got 12k users from 90+ nations in first 4 months with almost no investment. I did everything, design, code, social media, finance, legal, sales, marketing, single-handedly with the help of few volunteers..

You are tricking businesses to become more nice and i am bringing nice people together to create a business. We can speed up the process of bridging the gap between nice people and businesses to change the world inside-out by working from both ends. I would like you to become the angel investor of my startup. I will be waiting to hear from you.

Thank you for your time to read this.

  5. This is an amazing talk.. I for a ton of years chased the money and made more then I ever had. I finally realized all that I had missed in my kids lives so I quit and went to work for another company working half allot less hours but also making less. In a pretty short amount of time they moved me up the latter and I started tasting that money again. Over the last 9 months I’ve started doing something that has generated some income and I think it could be that way to generate a living but be something that gets me excited every day..

  6. I am A pro fortnite player, trying to have a life in the esports industry. I am only good at two things. Fighting, and playing games. And I don't want to have to do mma for a living. I am putting everything I have into this. And i'm losing. I feel like I take life way to serious rn. Just stressed out about everything. Hopefully I can make it with all the work I am putting in. I am trying to put in more though. The toughest part is finding good people to be around. Seems like I am too late in the games community to find people that want a solid team.

  7. I'm chasing happiness, but I'll settle for just being content. It's hard to do what you love when you work 70 hours a week and if you miss one day your electric gets shut off that month or you don't eat that week. But I'm trying 🙂 won't give up till the day I day. Hopefully it works out before that lol

  8. I love how he talked about life being complicated, and being hit by taxi, love the process. I love how he says true winning is happiness, so true! but of course that combined with some cash flow is perfect 🙂

  9. The best thing I have figured out so far is to tell something that you plan to do (i.e. a business you want to start or project you want to finish) to someone who you know, regardless of whether they care about your plan and then follow through with that. The effect of feeling obliged to someone else and then follow through with my plan gives me motivation to keep going, and not such a bad way to leverage the energy I get for the feeling of responsibility to committing to my words.

  10. I've just had another look at what I have been chasing — I have been chasing money. I am so much more than money. I am so much more than anything I can "get!" I am amazing and incredible and Infinite outside of money. Knowing that, I know that money will come to me.

  11. I've been chasing a legacy of being an ALL TIME GREAT educator, but have recently lost my passion for classroom teaching. I LOVE the high of helping people learn and become mentally stronger. I've been an elementary teacher for the past four years, but have a HUGE passion for health and fitness. I recently became an online fitness coach, but haven't seem any income yet (actually losing money each month). But I know the upside of my fitness passion can be enormous! Thoughts?
