  1. Why I’m at 1:46 and you haven not start talking about the topic. I don’t know who you are but can you just stop saying things about yourself just get into the topic!!!

  2. I'm currently micromanaging the process to scale what I do. Yes, it's a kind of juxtaposition. But looking forward to seeing the results.

P.S. I love your 5 min meetings. And the fact that you said you don't consume content but you mentioned following and commenting on staff. It shows your intent (word of the day for you) but also the higher purpose of doing so.

  3. I micromanage my health. Sport, eat clean, sleep smart, work smart and obsesse it. This way I bring everything to a next level and I am still able to grind when I am old but looking young. Long-term thinking

  4. The thing I micromanage the most right now is the launch of my company's revised Code of Ethics. The new Code reflects who we are and who we want to be, and will serve as the foundation of our culture. It will speak to the "clouds" (values) and the "dirt" (dos and don'ts).

  5. Fucking intense.

I micromanage the "air"/culture, tenor, whatever the hell you want to call the general feeling of the relationships my team has with each other. It's a team of 5 people in a business where people that can do the job are relatively rare, so people being satisfied/happy/getting value from their work is extremely extremely important to me.

    After that, new business.

  6. Having fun catching up on Ask GV while I'm out of town hiding from snow 🙂 One comment on the 5 min employee meetings regarding scale…. b/c it's kind of scalable. Can you do 100 a day? No. But the output of the employees after meeting with GV will for sure cause in uptick in their work product. Multiply that by all the 5 min meetings, you have a very nice outcome. It's high leverage in my opinion

  7. I just love how you prove that doing business with love and fully hearted is actually working and not only that but even go beyond what people would believe possible. I think you show that we can switch from "What's the ROI, how can we save money, how can we outsource and how can we scale?" to "How can we help, give value, care, motivate and create something with so much heart and passion it will blow people's mind?!" Thanks as always! #110%Gratitude

  8. Gary Vee I have never thought of micromanagement from a positive angle before as so many times it is being used on me by bosses that are insecure, control freaks, or unable to let people be.

Now looking at it from this perspective what I micromanage in my business is who I chose to partner with because if we don't see eye to eye on the overall mission it can be horrible.

  9. “It just doesn’t matter to me…
Guys… I don’t think we are gonna lose a Fu** account because we put the “i” before the “e”…”
I love it! I would love to see the crew’s expression when they heard that. Caught me off guard. Great show!
