Awesome Tip: ADVICE TO YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS FROM A 64 YEAR OLD IMMIGRANT AND BUSINESS OWNER | DAILYVEE 342

If you’re a young entrepreneur, the advice that my dad gave is so crucial… Work hard, invest in the things that you believe in, and respect the people around you and that you work with. I’m honestly not sure if I could have said it better myself.

Also, even though I had to censor most of my conversation on the phone with one of my clients, I am happy that you guys got to see a little bit of that 30 minute call because it gives you a better idea of what I’m doing off-camera… working and running my business!

Go show Iris Chen some love for filming and editing this incredible episode of DailyVee 342:

  1. Your face at the Knicks game is so good. Lmao.

I also loved hearing about how Iris quit and then un-quit. And to see you care about her trajectory AND as a person and let her know you are glad she’s there.

  2. Well done Gary, so many young guns have that piss and vinegar but you can't ignore the wisdom of the ages. Those of us over 50 that have crashed into the walls and then climbed over them are badass mentors. That's just a given! What's not a given is when a culture of "form" over "substance" is pervasive. This is also going to be a huge issue as young billionaires don't realize how their choices will bring power to change that is likely not the change they wanted. Measure twice and cut once.

at 6:02 he say's, "work hard, keep investing in what you believe" and you can see the intelligence and wisdom in his eyes that you are not hearing in his words. Meaning, he says "what you believe" and how he over 64 years protected that core essence is virtually a trade secret of the ages! You can't do it until you've felt the test of time and developed that true grit of the battle to protect that belief and whatever was done to slay the demons, build the positive forces and MAKE THE BEST DECISIONS are worth more than most will ever know.

GET A MENTOR AT EVERY PHASE OF YOUR LIFE!
BE A MENTOR FOR THOSE PHASES YOU'VE EARNED THE WISDOM!
    #mentor #bevital #theinformationalist

  3. Good video. Though picture is to shaky and got darker when there is obviously a lot of light (not talking about part when Gary in the car and car in the tunnel).

I've kind of felt you Gary only today, that you are saying you are not afraid of work. I remember you saying this all the time, but it got me only today. I think the reason of me understanding and feeling it, is that i realized i can rely only on myself. For me that makes work just an instrument to achieve what i want and be happy. Interesting connection…

    Thanks, as always good content!

  4. When you filmed at the old table at WineLibrary it gave me chills… you have come so far and I know it's very evident with everything that you do but, it just felt that much more special when you sat at the exact place you were years ago

  5. @garyvee I’m stuck between what I should do I’m an aspiring poker professional I work hard everyday at trying to get better at my game I do feel someday I will get there I’m just not sure on the when.
I have an opportunity to take a more practical job/Business that I sort of like (meaning I have some passion for it just nowhere’s close to my actual passion ). I’m just stuck between deciding what I should do. I’m 28 and I feel I should make a choice soon and just go with it.?

  6. Wow thanks Gary Vee for the best advice no ene ever gave me ..I an 18 year old entrepreneur from Zimbabwe: MY SITE HEREhttps://goo.gl/N9aqFu…Have been moving well since i started following you and implementing your advice i have been able to increase my trffic to 13000 daily from 200 in 1 month and also closing some affliate sales on Amazon

I easpecially want to thank you on your advices concerning value and documenting..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! I ASSURE YOU YOUR LEGACY WILL GO AGES….many thanks!!!

  7. Glad Iris stayed with you. Iris I love the way you tug at our emotions with your editing, music choice, and content. Gary absolutely respect you kissing your pops. Got to show love to those who helped give us life and put food on the table.

  8. Your story should be told so that you can start building relationships with your audience. In turn, your audience will begin to trust and engage with you. You should start your journey of storytelling, but where should you begin?

  9. this is amazing. behind the scenes of everything. not many people know what happens behind every Gary is doing. and Iris is one lucky girl for being able to witness everything and learn from the best.

  10. I am in Botswana, (Southern Africa). What I managed to understand from this vid is that it doesn't have to all come from me.
I have a passion for greatness and the problem I face is not knowing how to start. I switch on the computer, open chrome….then nothing. I don't know where to go on the web, the right youtube channels, facebook pages with something worth the time and I could document….in my country stuff is slow, we don't have m,uch of our great people being active online so I am really struggling with having a productive feed on all my social networks, facebbok is the worst

  11. Great content, good eye, but PLEASE learn how to fix the backlit stuff in post or shoot it properly. We prefer seeing Gary's face to seeing the wall of the tunnel or the outside traffic. Weird color grading. I'm happy to show you if you need. Easy fixes.
